If you have driven Going to the Sun Road and stopped at Logan Pass you most likely have run into the mountain goats which hang out there in the summer

I noticed stretches of straight road as we left the fog

On a rainy evening I headed to the beach on the shoreline which is part of the Tongass National Forest

Over the city there was clouds but as you looked out towards the mountains it was blue sky. Walking around Civic Center Park I headed up the steps of the Colorado State Capitol and was treated with a nice view of the mountains with still some fall color in the area.
