It completely replaces the original V2 FCU board that is included with the engine. You will need to wire your own switches, or use a Perun triggerboard. This uFCU enables easier install into LMG's, V3 gearboxes (with perun board) and other non V2 formats. It also has outputs for driving boxmagazine.
