the card has been applied to more modern day cardstock and embellished with some cream rayon ribbon

Condition is very nice with the usual old age marks that are usually found on antique paper

Starting with a C. 1950 Japan Clay Face of Santa Claus, I crafted a body, boots and hat of vintage chenille and then placed him on a circular lid covered with vintage paper and foiled stars; the reverse of the lid reads Merry Christmas. Santa carries a C. 1950 bottlebrush garland dotted with C. 1950 Japan mercury glass beads. Santa's colors are a little off the norm but
