The enamel is durable and an excellent conductor for heat. The kettle is suitable for induction, gas, electric cookers and of course a camp fire! They are triple coated onto a heavy steel base so very sturdy though care should be taken with thermal shock as this can damage the enamel coating, pouring cold water
