Vintage USA Gemco - ‘The Whistler’ - The Whistling Glass Kettle - 8 cups 2011 whatever you like to callThe Whistler is designed with heat resistant glass and a lid that whistles when water boils. The kettle includes a protective metal grid for use on electric ranges, which must be placed between the heating element and the kettle. Gemco operated in the USA from 1959 until closing in late 1986. There is a little bit of rubbing on the decal (see photos) but apart from that the pot is in excellent vintage condition.
