On this day it was a little less crowded which allowed me to get closer and spend more time at the sculpture

I found a location which allowed me to position the crops for the end of the growing season in the image as well as the first hints of winter on the peaks of the Mission Mountains

However about 15 minutes later I saw them heading back towards the downtown area of San Diego and found a location to capture them in the morning light with the skyline in the background as well

Sunrise from Mt. Evans Size:24"x36" On this day it wasThis past weekend I headed up Mt. Evans for some photography in the morning. With sunrise occurring around 5: 30am in the middle of summer along the front range of Colorado it was an early departure from Denver to get there in time. It was at this moment where you can say having an alarm go off at 3: 00am was worth it as I was provided with a colorful start to the weekend.
