Dream a Little Dream Lake - Print Note Cards From a distance I spotted

From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

This movement turned the building more abstract as the lines started to weave together while I moved the camera

While exploring the area around the shrine I found some fresh snow still along the water low sun providing some late morning light

at time fighting with the heavy snow coming down right into the camera lens

Dream a Little Dream Lake - Print Note Cards From a distance I spottedI could have stayed in bed and continued dreaming, however I woke up early and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake area. After photographing around Bear Lake at sunrise I hike a little over a mile to Dream Lake. As usual there was a stiff wind, and once I got to Dream Lake it just started to howl. I didn't spend much time around the lake, as this was also a scouting mission for future trips towards Dream Lake later this winter.
