Rol Valentin 2006 Weissburgunder Palate is rich
Rol Valentin 2006 Weissburgunder Palate is richTasted privately with a negotiant. A very attractive, tobacco tinged nose with good definition. Black cherries, cassis and a touch of black coffee. Full bodied, fine tannins, elegant in fact something Burgundian about this wine in terms of texture. Very pure black fruits with a touch of burnt toast towards the finish. Lacks a little finesse, but there is good freshness and delineation. Tasted April 2007. 89 91 Neal Martin RobertParker. com, April 2007
