Vintage Merchant's Money Box low 5 (8"x 5") Please bearA compact solid hardwood vintage merchant's money box with a top coin and note slot from NW India. Originally used by a trader at one of India's bustling traditional street markets to store bank notes and coins. It would make a great storage box, jewellery box or of course a money box. Size: W37cm x D26 x H23 There's a fair amount of wear to all sides especially the top, but that adds to the unique character of the box.
