きりばみのように斜めに組まれた珍しい幾何学文様です。

紗綾形は「不断長久（家の繁栄が永く続くこと）」の意味を持つ吉祥紋様で、江戸時代には武将の指物（旗や飾り）の生地に施されることもありました。
