As construction has continued around the Union Station area there is this view of the Davita Building which still remains

In November 2009 while walking around photographing during a weekend snow I stopped at the piece and wanted to capture an image which would show the piece but also a sense of where it is located

Norway is not that far from Stavanger and this fjord is more commonly known as the location of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock)

While not only bridging the gap between the buildings the Greek Ampitheater also serves as a meeting place

Fuel Tank in Skagway Size:16"x20" As construction has continued aroundAs I was headed out on a short afternoon hike I walked past some fuel tanks and noticed the afternoon light casting a shadow on one of them. Quickly grabbing my camera, I grabbed some images of the lines and patterns of the shadows knowing that upon my return the sun would be behind the nearby ridge. The challenge on this was trying to stay still with the wind howling at that time of time which is quite common in Skagway.
